Your skin is our business and we have the tools to ensure you get the results you covet. Below we have answered some of our most frequently asked questions regarding laser treatments.

WHAT CAN LASERS TREAT?
Our variety of lasers and devices can treat many different skin conditions such as: Rosacea, Facial Veins, Age/Brown Spots, Leg Veins (not varicose), Foot Fungus, Inflammatory Acne, Lentigines, Freckles, Skin Tags, Acne Scars, Scar Reduction, and Fine Lines and Wrinkles.
WHO CAN GET LASER TREATMENTS?
Laser treatments are safe for all skin types and colors. We have had the pleasure of helping teenagers, adults, seniors and both men and women.
HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION TAKE?
Sessions are usually fairly quick but it does depend on how many areas we are treating and the severity of the condition.
WILL YOU NEED MORE THAN ONE APPOINTMENT?
Generally speaking, yes. For optimal results, we often recommend a series of about five treatments spaced approximately three to four weeks apart; however, this may vary based on your unique skin type and concern. People have experienced amazing results after just one session and didn't feel as though they needed to return. Results vary from person to person. *Hair removal is always a series of treatments because of the cycle of hair growth.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
We have a range of treatments and therefore a range of prices, we are very competitively priced compared to the same services using the same devices in larger centers and you do not need to travel! We do offer packages of treatments and those come at a significant savings. We offer a $35 consult to go over your concerns and best options with our certified laser technician, this cost will be deducted from your first treatment. We no longer offer complimentary consultations as too many people were booking them and not showing up and just like you, our time is valuable.
IS LASER TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Like most Laser procedures, there can be a bit of discomfort during the treatment, some treatments can feel like a rubber band snapping against your skin, but the pain is minimal (if at all!) and some treatments are actually quite soothing and enjoyable.
WHAT KIND OF AFTERCARE IS NEEDED?
For most services, we recommend staying out of the sun and always applying sunscreen. It is possible you may experience a bit of swelling and redness afterwards which can be soothed with cool compresses. Many people do not experience this at all.
WHEN WILL RESULTS APPEAR?
Results can be immediate and ongoing improvement will be observed for weeks. Optimal results achieved after a series of IPL treatments may last for years.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME?
Most clients don't need any recovery time and can slip right back into their normal routine after their appointment.
WHAT ARE THE REASONS A PERSON COULD NOT GET AN IPL TREATMENT?

WHAT ABOUT SIDE EFFECTS?
Side effects from any IPL therapy can include some minor redness in the treatment area. This temporary flushing appearance can often be concealed with makeup and should resolve relatively quickly. Additionally, you may notice some darkening of any brown spots that were targeted during treatment, but this too should fade over the course of a few days as your skin heals from within. Micro-needling clients can expect some minute crusting as the perforations heal and in some cases a fair amount of swelling. The perforations are barely noticeable and should swelling occur it will go down within a few days.
