Microdermabrasion
Get up Close & Personal
When your skin isn’t at its best it’s asking for a little R&R. Unclog those pores and polish away dead skin cells with our soothing, non-invasive microdermabrasion facial. Using gentle, physical exfoliation with tiny granules and suction, we remove only the very top layer of damaged skin to reveal a younger, smoother, cleaner complexion. You’ll look so fresh you may even dare to go bare.
How it Works
Microdermabrasion is the process of using tiny crystals to exfoliate the skin and then drawing out debris and impurities with suction. It uses no chemicals and is not invasive. The procedure removes the dead and dry outer layer of the skin’s surface to reveal fresh, healthy skin underneath.
It works in two parts. First, our machine shoots tiny crystals under high pressure at your skin. The abrasive action sloughs off dead skin cells, which do a number on your complexion when they accumulate. Then, the suction portion removes the debris while it also stimulates circulation and promotes collagen and elastin production. This gives the skin back it’s bounce and suppleness.
Unlike some more invasive facial resurfacing treatments, microdermabrasion is limited to the epidermis, or top layer of skin. It quickly refreshes and improves tone and texture with no downtime or pain, it has been described as feeling like a cat is licking the skin.

Who Can Have It?
Microdermabrasion is suitable for all skin types and colors and will not cause scarring or color changes. It is a less aggressive procedure than traditional dermabrasion and has a quicker recovery time, but can still achieve great results and won’t require needles or medications to numb the skin.

Aftercare for Microdermabrasion
After your microdermabrasion treatment, your skin may feel tight and dry and may remain slightly pink for 24 hours. Simply treat this like sunburn and don’t put makeup on the skin for a day.

It is important to realize that after microdermabrasion your skin will be dry and will be more sensitive to the sun. To easily prevent associated complications, apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer to soothe and hydrate your skin after your treatment. You will also need to apply adequate sun protection for a few days following your microdermabrasion.
We should all be wearing sun protection daily anyway.
