What is laser genesis?

Laser Genesis is a non-invasive procedure that gently heats the upper dermis well below your skin’s surface and stimulates collagen regrowth. Laser Genesis is a laser that uses a single wavelength of light to target a specific molecule in the skin called a chromophore.

What is diffuse redness?

What are the contraindications?

Laser Genesis is not an option if:

• You are pregnant.

• You are currently being treated for skin cancer.

What happens before the treatment?

Make up and moisturizer will need to be removed. If there is excess hair in the area it will need to be removed.

 

What is the aftercare?

You can return to your regular activities after your session. If you are spending time outdoors, please ensure you wear sunscreen. Most people report little to no side effects, though it's most common to have a slight redness that disappears a few hours after your service.

What to expect after your treatment

Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) sunscreen to prevent further sun damage.

Drink plenty of water to keep skin hydrated.

How many treatments are needed?
